Previous issue date: 2011-02-28 === Coordena??o de Aperfei?oamento de Pessoal de N?vel Superior === Patriarchy is a dominating system that establishes male power in social relations as the social-ideological system and the structuring element of several ways of men‟s domination on gender social relations, on organization of social life, on private relations, and on political decision spaces. In this study we enlarge our reflection about patriarchy from the analysis of Forr? lyrics, more specifically the variation known as stylized. Of late decades, it is a kind of music that has been receiving a large acceptance all over the national territory, making use of everyday expressions that propagate and make apology to many forms of discrimination, oppression and violence against women. We emphasize that over this study 14 Forr? lyrics were analyzed of different styles besides stylized, like the traditional and the double meaning ones. However, we dwelled on the content analysis, particularly in three Stylized Forr? lyrics, they are: Tapa na Cara (2008) by Saia Rodada Band; Mulher Roleira (2004), Avi?es do Forr? Band; and Bomba no Cabar? (2007), Matruz com Leite Band. In order to make a critical analysis of the elements in the lyrics content, we support ourselves on the theoretic-methodological references of the dialectical materialism, a method that allowed us to get closer to the totality of the reality that includes the popular involvement of the analyzed lyrics in a qualitative way. In that sense, we hold onto the theoretic-methodological categories: gender social relations, patriarchy, violence against women, ideology and cultural industry. As from the lyrics compilation, they were arranged by theme, we classified and analyzed the content, which allowed us to comprehend the messages in the lyrics, beyond the text shows at first sight. Today, there are many mechanisms of propagation and perpetuation of patriarchal ideology. A very relevant mechanism of this phenomenon is the sexual violence. The violence against women is a form to propagate and keep sexism, which may occur in different ways, like physical, psychological, sexual, patrimonial and social. Through our study we established that the propagation of the violence against women as being something natural and banal, giving reinforcement to the asymmetric construction of gender relations that priorizes male to the detriment of female. This banalization is perhaps, one of the strongest allies of this phenomenon‟s perpetuation, that affects women all over the world from different social classes === O patriarcado ? um sistema de domina??o que determina o poder do homem nas rela??es sociais como sistema s?cio-ideol?gico e elemento estruturante das variadas formas de domina??o masculina seja nas rela??es sociais de g?nero, na organiza??o da vida social, nas rela??es privadas e nos espa?os de decis?es pol?ticas. Nesse estudo ampliamos nossa reflex?o sobre o patriarcado a partir da an?lise de letras de m?sicas de forr?, mais especificamente do forr? conhecido como estilizado. G?nero musical que, nas ?ltimas d?cadas, vem apresentando uma grande aceita??o em todo territ?rio nacional, utilizando-se de express?es do cotidiano que reproduzem e fazem apologia as v?rias formas de discrimina??o, opress?o e viol?ncia contra as mulheres. Ressaltamos que ao longo do estudo fizemos ao todo, a an?lise de quatorze letras de forr? dos diversos estilos al?m do estilizado, como o tradicional e o de duplo sentido. Contudo nos detivemos para a an?lise de conte?do, particularmente, em tr?s letras de m?sicas do forr? estilizado, s?o elas: Tapa na Cara (2008) da Banda Saia Rodada; Mulher Roleira (2004), Banda Avi?es do Forr?; e Bomba no Cabar? (2007), banda Matruz com Leite. Afim de realizarmos uma an?lise cr?tica dos elementos contido no conte?do das letras das m?sicas, apoiamo-nos no referencial te?rico-metodol?gico do materialismo dial?tico,m?todo que nos possilitou aproximar da totalidade da realidade que envolve o processo de envolvimento popular das letras das m?sicas analisadas de forma qualitativa. Nesse sentido, apoiamo-nos nas categorias teorico-motodol?gicas: rela??es sociais de g?nero, patriarcado, viol?ncia contra sa mulheres, ideologia e industria cultural. Ent?o a partir da compila??o das m?sicas, organizamo-as por tem?ticas, categorizamos e realizamos an?lise de conte?do, t?cnica que nos permitiu a compreens?o das mensagens contidas nas letras , para al?m do que o texto traz em sua imediaticidade. S?o m?ltiplos, na atualidade, os mecanismos de reprodu??o e perpetua??o da ideologia patriarcal. Um mecanismo significamente relevante desse fen?meno ? a viol?ncia sexista. A viol?ncia contra as mulheres ? uma forma de reproduzir e manter o machismo, podendo ocorrer de diversas formas, dentre as quais se destacam a f?sica, a psicol?gica, sexual, patrimonial e social. Com o nosso estudo constatamos a reprodu??o da viol?ncia contra as mulheres de forma naturalizada e banalizada num claro refor?o a constru??o assim?trica das rela??es de g?nero que prioriza o masculino em detrimento do feminino. Essa banaliza??o ? talvez, um dos aliados mais forte da perpetua??o desse fen?meno, que atinge mulheres em todo mundo e de diversas classes sociais
