Previous issue date: 2013-12-19 === Sem bolsa === O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar o uso da tecnologia de recobrimento de sementes com filmes poliméricos como agente de adesão dos tratamentos de sementes com agroquímicos buscando a redução de geração de poeira. Foram utilizadas sementes de milho Dow 1788, calibre R3C, de formato redondo sem tratamento e tratadas com o fungicida Maxim Quattro na dose de 20 ml, o nematicida Avicta na dose de 70 mL e o inseticida Cruiser 350 FS na dose de 120 mL, com ou sem polímeros por 60.000 sementes respectivamente. Os polímeros testados foram Disco AG 322 e AG 9.8187 nas doses de 70 e 90 mL e FloRite 1197 na dose de 100 mL/60.000 sementes. As sementes foram tratadas em uma máquina Niklas WN5, de batelada, com oito segundos de injeção dos produtos, 10 segundos de agitação e 5 segundos de descarga, totalizando um ciclo de 23 segundos por batelada. Depois do tratamento, as amostras foram colocadas em sacos de papel e ao décimo quinto dia depois do tratamento foi feito o teste de avaliação de desprendimento de poeira “Dust Off” utilizando o equipamento medidor de poeira “Dustmeter” Heubach seguindo o protocolo das normas para do Código de Praticas Europeu – COP estabelecidas e certificadas pelo SGS Group. O delineamento experimental foi inteiramente casualizado, em fatorial 7 x 1 (tratamentos x híbrido), com três repetições. Os testes demonstraram que houve desprendimento de poeira em todos os tratamentos, porém o uso dos polímeros reduziu significativamente o desprendimento de poeira. === The objective of this study was to evaluate the use of seed coating technology with polymer films as adhesion of seed treatments with agrochemicals seeking to reduce generation of dust from seeds. Corn seeds Dow 1788, R3C gauge , round shape without treatment were used and treated with fungicide Maxim Quattro dose of 20 mL, nematicide Avicta at a dose of 70 mL and insecticide Cruiser 350 FS at a dose of 120 m , with or without polymers over 60,000 seeds. The polymers tested were 322 Disc AG and AG 9.8187 at doses of 70 and 90 mL and FloRite 1197 at a dose of 100 mL/60,000 seeds . The seeds were treated in a WN5 Niklas machine, batch , eight seconds of injection products , 10 seconds of shaking and 5 second discharge , totaling a cycle of 23 seconds per batch . After treatment , the samples were placed in paper bags and the fifteenth day after the treatment was done to evaluate the release of dust " dust off " test using the dust meter equipment " Dustmeter " Heubach following the protocol of rules to the European Code of Practice - COP established and certified by SGS Group . The experimental design was completely randomized, with a 7 x 1 ( treatments x hybrid) with three replications . The tests showed that there was shedding of dust in all treatments, therefore the use of polymers reduced significantly the shedding dust.
