=== This work has the objective of describing about the interreligious experience and pheno menon of double religious belonging showed by the life of the French Benedictine monk Henri Le Saux (Swami Abhishiktānanda). He sought to establish an Hindu Christian mo nasticism in the context of the Hindu tradition of non-duality (advaita). His experience opens an important avenue toward a Theology of Religion that would be based on an exis tential encounter in the interreligious dialogue. He tried to achieve much more than a con ceptual formulation, and the model which he offered is that of a ‘bridge’ that unifies the two ‘shores’ of religious pursuits of mankind. An experimental paradigm of self awakening which is the discovery of the Word in the heart’s ‘cave’.
