Summary:=== This Dissertation is about an experimental study made in Eucalyptus Grandis laminated timber connections under combined efforts (bending moment and shearing force) to determine these connections rigidity. The bending tests were made in wood pieces in L form. At the connection region, eight galvanized tubes (hollow screws) were used and two displacement transducers were installed, one in horizontal position and the other in vertical position, to determine the rotation between the wood pieces. As predicted, the wood walls were crushed and the bending of the tubes did not occur. From the results some moment x rotation curves were plotted. Wood mechanical properties were analyzed through non destructive tests by ultrasound. The embedment resistances in perpendicular and parallel to the grain directions were also determined. At the connection region two displacement transducers were installed to measure the relative displacement between the tube and the wood piece extreme. From the results some tension x strain curves were plotted and then the embedment resistances were found when this connection is used. === Esta dissertacao trata de um estudo experimental de ligacoes em madeira laminada colada de Eucalipto Grandis, sob a acao de esforcos combinados de momento fletor e forca cortante, a fim de se determinar o nivel de rigidez destas ligacoes. Os ensaios a flexao foram realizados em corpos de prova em forma de L. Na regiao da ligacao foram utilizados oito tubos alvanizados (parafusos ocos) e instalados dois transdutores de deslocamento, um na posicao horizontal e outro na vertical, com o objetivo da determinacao do giro entre as pecas. Como previsto houve o esmagamento da madeira e não a flexao dos tubos durante a realizacao dos ensaios. A partir dos resultados obtidos foram traçados graficos momento x rotacao. Para definir a rigidez da ligacao foram tambem determinadas as caracteristicas mecanicas das laminas, atraves de ensaios não destrutivos via ultrassom. Foram tambem determinadas as resistencias de embutimento, nas direcoes normal e paralela as fibras. Na regiao da ligacao foram instalados dois transdutores de deslocamento, na posicao vertical, com o objetivo de se medir o deslocamento relativo entre o tubo e a extremidade do corpo de prova. A partir dos resultados obtidos foram tracados diagramas tensao x deformação especifica e determinada a resistencia ao embutimento nas direcoes normal e paralela as fibras, quando e utilizado este tipo de ligacao.
