Description
Summary:Augmented Reality (AR) applications require novel rendering technologies, sensors, and interaction techniques. This thesis describes the nascent field of AR, and outlines the design of a new college campus annotation application which serves as a concrete example of how to flesh out a full AR system. Code for the application is included in the Appendix. As such, this thesis demonstrates that AR is advanced paradigm that nonetheless constitutes a feasible challenge for independent programmers.
