由於研究方向為質性研究,研究者的研究方法,主要是採取紮根理論法去進行,因此研究的理論繁雜,整理的步驟也頗多艱辛。這些都將在第一章中詳細說明。研究者將引用各種文獻,來探討女性電影的困境,與女性影像創作的出路。
在第二章中,研究者先就形式方面進行探討,解析並重組普洛普、葛雷瑪斯等人的敘事理論,再引入歐蒙、黑思、費爾德、梅茲等人的電影理論,建構出一套創作電影的模式。當然,這套模式提供的只是創作上的建議,並無法涵括所有電影理論的範疇。
之後,創作者討論情感的概念,除了討論創作者與作品間的關係外,尤其著重在分析創作者與觀眾之間的溝通關係。研究者將深入的討論,「創作者要如何將情感傳達給觀眾?」此一問題。蘇珊•朗格的理論是重要的憑藉之一。
延續情感的討論,研究者開始將研究的方向,導入女性情慾的部分。研究者將引入佛洛依德與拉崗的精神分析理論,並引入克麗絲提娃與依蕊格萊的理論進行批判與返思。並提出給予女性創作者掙脫父權架構的部分建議。
最後,研究者再檢視於實際創作中,可能會預見的種種創作問題,並提供各項可行的建議給創作者。至此,研究者已完成初步的研究,架構出一套類似「女性電影劇情製作機」的理論。
在第三章文本分析中,研究者將為第二章的理論作示範與印證。研究者以珍康萍的「鋼琴師與她的情人」為例,以第二章的理論為基礎,解析電影中的形式創作,與精神分析上的意義。從角色的選定、人物性情的安排、事件的決定到象徵意義,都將納入第二章所提出的創作體系中。這也是證明研究價值的所在。因此,文本分析為本研究的重點。
而第四章的結論,研究者將研究的成果再次做個簡潔的回顧,整理出給女性電影的創作者創作的方法,與對於情感、父權概念的反思與操作。
=== The main purpose of this research is to discuss the construction of "feminine film". Based on grounded theory, the research has conducted with various approaches, which will be explained in the first chapter. Related research and theory are introduced, so as to discuss the dilemma of feminine film and provide a solution to the problem of female image invention.
The second chapter of the research will focus on the form of feminine film. Different ideas of narrative theory, fromPropp to Greinaas, will be explained, analyzed and reconstructed. Film theories ofAumont, Heath, Field, and Metz will be also fattroduced and then synthesized into a model of film invention. The model would be a suggestion for film invention rather than a complete picture of film theories.
In addition, the concept of "feeling" is discussed. The research aims not only at the relationship between author and her texts, but al?o the communication between author and her audience. The research will refer to Susaime. K. Langer's theoiy and try to answer the question,"how d6es inventor communicate her/his feeling with audience?" Then the research will discuss the problem of female sexuality. Psychoanalysis theory of Freud and Lacan will be introduced in the chapter, and be criticized with Kristeva and Irigaray's perspectives. The chapter will suggest how female inventor could fight against patriarchy system. The research is to provide solutions and suggestion for authors who encounter with difficulties while her invention. The theory of "a machine for feminine film invention" has been constructed in the research.
In the third chapter, the research will take Jane Campion's "The" Piano" for the case of text analysis. Based on previous theories, the research will analysize the form of the film, and find out its meaning with the psychoanalytic perspective. The discussion will be focused on the characters, event and symbols of the film) and refared back to the invention model in the second cnapter.
In the fourth chapter, the research has & brief summary, which provides authors with approches to feminine film, and reflexes on the conception of feeling and operation of patriarchy system.
