By substituting vanadium with Iron in Ti-6Al-4V, it is economically beneficial as a low-cost material alloy composition. Since iron is closely related to rusting, the effect of substitution vanadium to iron should be consider. This paper reviews on various mechanical properties of a newly formed alloy of Ti-6Al-xFe. All such properties are then compared with Ti-6Al-4V as a reference alloy.
