Summary: | This research adopts the combination of qualitative and quantitative method to study the relevance of Yusoff Zaky Yacob writing in the area of education psychology from the perspective of Islam to produce Islamic education graduates. The research is conducted to study the relevance of Yusoff Zaky Yacob which could assist current education process based on Islamic educational psychology perspective. The research conducted to identify the main themes which are rooted to educational psychological construct from Islamic perspective. The research conducted to analyse the significant effect between Islamic psychology educational construct based on his writing towards the personality of Islamic studies undergraduates of local university. The other objective is to classify the most dominant construct of Islamic educational psychology towards the personality of Islamic studies undergraduates of local university by producing a model. The methodology conducted through the analysis of interview data using Nvivo version 10.0 software based on the frequency of informants' statements. The researcher has conducted the research manually through text studies. The construct that has been obtained would assist the researcher to construct the questionnaire for pilot study. The pilot study had been conducted using 28 respondents which has resulted an Alpha Cronbach result of 0.896. Data processing procedure has been done using IBM Statistical Package. The actual questionnaires were administered on 165 respondents which consisted of Islamic Studies undergraduates from three local universities. The researcher used WarpPLS 5.0 software which utilizes Structural Equation Model (SEM) structure to obtain the result of correlation between constructs that assist the researcher in producing the intended model upon completion of the process. The results of the studies show that Yusoff Zaky Yacob literary work is still relevant to assist current educational process and succeed in recognizing 12 constructs which have significant influence on individuals to mould a personality. The result from the 12 constructs towards personality proves that there are most significant constructs that have significant value of P<0.05. The five constructs are environment, attention & concentration, perception, learning and memory remembering. These dominant construct will become the educational psychological model construct in the Islamic perspective particularly related to Islamic studies undergraduates in Malaysian local university. Based on the finding of this research, several suggestions are proposed at the end of the report to the interested parties in the effort to strengthen the Islamic psychology studies from the perspective of Islam.
