Summary: | A discrete time Sliding Mode Control (SMC) using fast output sampling feedback is designed for piezoelectric actuated structure to suppress the vibration in the presence of disturbance. Recursive Least Square (RLS) method is used to identify the model. The performance of the controller for vibration suppression and disturbance rejection is demonstrated through simulation and experimental results. The 89S52 microcontroller based hardware is used for experimental implementation. The use of microcontroller provides design flexibility, less component count and low cost solution. |
