Description
Summary:This article describes an organizational intelligence model and multiple strategic and prospective planning tools that can be implemented, at a low cost, in SMEs management; in this particular case, the network of hostels in Medellin, Colombia. The objective is to articulate universities with SMEs, which have generated the development and economic growth of the country in the last decade thanks to their capacity to create new jobs. Finally, the proposed tools were well received by the managers of hostels in the network as a way to improve their competitiveness, service provision, visibility, and permanence in the market.
