We captured a male adult shrew in a pitfall container located within a riparian forest, following the river bank locally known as El Pajal, at 410 msnm (14,119N, -90,505W). The specimen was collected, and prepared as dried skin and skull following the protocols of The Animal Care and Use Committee (Gannon et al. 2007).
