Summary: |
In the present article we discuss the legitimacy and acknowledgment principles of social work practice. Under the presupposition that legitimacy is a product of a constructive and deliberative process of acknowledgement assumption in context, we debate the parameters and rationalities inherent to the process. Thus, we defend the thesis that acknowledgment is associated to a competence in action, to reflexivity and to a coherent argumentation and not mainly to formal classifications.
|
