Description
Summary:The adoption in 1965 of the declaration Dignitatis Humanae in the last session of the II Vatican Council meant the pistol shot for a change in the situation of non-Catholics in Spain, until then subject to a regime of mere tolerance. In this article we try to show the evolution that occurred in the perception of the news that would bring religious freedom to the Francoist state.
