Summary:<p>Economical education can be viewed as a relatively new activity of<br />financial sector in Poland and globally. Author focuses his analysis on its functioning<br />in Polish educational system and concludes that it currently resolves to banking<br />education - both because of banks’ engagement in its organization as well as its bias<br />towards individualism and consumerism. The final part of the article is devoted to<br />alternative in a form of critical economical education, which would be aimed at<br />critical description of economic processes and construction of individual and collective<br />strategies of acting within the realm of economic activities and with a purpose<br />of changing the latter.</p>
