The Research is carried out by modifying the growing medium Spirulina sp. to optimize<br />its role and functions, namely the combination of urea concentration and bean sprouts<br />extract media (MET). The Combinations are as follows: P1: MET 2% urea 80 ppm, P2: MET<br />2% urea 100 ppm, P3: MET 2% urea 120 ppm, P4: MET 4% urea 80 ppm, P5: MET 4% urea<br />100 ppm, P6: 4% urea MET 120 ppm, P7: MET 6% urea 80 ppm, P8: MET 6% urea 100<br />ppm, P9: MET 6% urea 120 ppm, and P10: sea water. highest cell density (19.53 x 103<br />sinusoid / ml in media treatment of P1. ANOVA test results (at p&gt; 0.05) showed the influence<br />of MET combination with urea fertilizer to the cell density of Spirulina sp. multiple comparison<br />test results for cell density Spirulina sp. showed a significant difference between the media<br />treatment of sea water by the combination of MET, except between P1 to P10. this is an<br />indication that the concentration of MET combination with urea fertilizer has the potential to<br />be used as an alternative fertilizer in cultured Spirulina sp. To obtain high cell biomass and<br />low fertilizer costs. So it can be applied in the production of single cell protein (PST) from<br />Spirulina sp. as a super food.<br />Key words: Spirulina sp., Urea fertilizer, bean sprouts extract media (MET) cell density</p><p> </p><p>Abstrak<br />Jenis pupuk yang bersifat ekonomis seperti MET (media Ekstrak Tauge) dan urea<br />dapat menjadi pilihan dalam mengembangkan kultur Spirulina sp., karena selain biaya yang<br />rendah juga memiliki kandungan makronutrien dan mikronutrien yang mendukung<br />pertumbuhan sel Spirulina sp. Penelitian dilakukan dengan memodifikasi media tumbuh<br />Spirulina sp. untuk mengoptimalkan peran dan fungsinya yaitu penambahan beberapa<br />kombinasi konsentrasi pupuk Urea dan media ekstrak tauge (MET). Kombinasi yang<br />dilakukan adalah : P1 : MET 2% pupuk urea 80 ppm, P2 : MET 2% pupuk urea 100 ppm, P3<br />: MET 2% pupuk urea 120 ppm, P4 : MET 4% pupuk urea 80 ppm, P5 : MET 4% pupuk urea<br />100 ppm, P6 : MET 4% pupuk urea 120 ppm, P7: MET 6% pupuk urea 80 ppm, P8: MET 6%<br />pupuk urea 100 ppm, P9: MET 6% pupuk urea 120 ppm, dan P10 : air laut. kepadatan sel<br />tertinggi (19,53 x 103 sinusoid/ml dalam media perlakuan P1. Hasil uji ANOVA (pada p&gt;<br />0,05) menunjukkan adanya pengaruh kombinasi MET dengan pupuk urea terhadap<br />kepadatan sel Spirulina sp. Hasil uji perbandingan berganda terhadap kepadatan sel<br />Spirulina sp. menunjukkan adanya perbedaan nyata antara media perlakuan air laut dengan<br />dengan kombinasi MET, kecuali antara P1 dengan P10. Hal ini memberikan indikasi bahwa<br />kombinasi konsentrasi MET dengan pupuk urea memiliki potensi untuk dijadikan pupuk<br />alternatif dalam kultur Spirulina sp. untuk memperoleh biomasa sel yang tinggi serta biaya<br />pupuk yang rendah sehingga dapat diaplikasikan dalam produksi protein sel tunggal (PST)<br />dari Spirulina sp. sebagai super food.<br />Kata kuci: Spirulina sp., pupuk urea, media ekstrak tauge (MET) kepadatan sel<br /><br /></p>
