This gives students the opportunity to demonstrate what they know as a set of understandings, skills and abilities (competencies). This paper tries to compare the teaching – learning – assessment traditional methods with the modern methodology in Economics learning. This paper will highlight the advantages and disadvantages of conventional and modern methods used in the study of Economics based on their application on various topics.
