Description
Summary:Immediately after the end of militant operations on the territory of the MSSR, the population of the republic was included in the Soviet economic, political, social and cultural system, which included the inclusion in the Soviet space of the inhabitants of MSSR. That study will present the taxes to which the population has been subjected, we will analyze the methods used by the authorities to compel the locals to pay taxes in the Soviet state’s casino, we will pay attention to the way of requiring taxes from the population. The research was based on the testimonies of the survivors, the original documents from the National Archives of the Republic of Moldova, the Archives of the Political Social Organizations of the Republic of Moldova and the literature. An informational support anchored in the realities of the time was given to us by the press, especially the newspapers ”Moldovan Moldova” and ”The Soviet Peasant”. As a result of the research, we found that the ways of collecting taxes were based on coercion and forced requisition from peasant households. In order to succeed in collecting the cereals to be supplied to the USSR, the teams of agitators, comsomolists, women’s organizations, among the villagers who were used by the Soviets in their diabolical plans, were created at the indication of the Republican leadership in the villages.
