Consensus on diagnosis and treatment of chronic cholecystitis and gallstones in China (2018)

Chinese consensus on the medical diagnosis and treatment of chronic cholecystitis and gallstones (2014) was issued for the first time in 2014 and effectively standardized the medical diagnosis and treatment of chronic cholecystitis and gallstones in China. Five years later, with the accumulation of new clinical data, the experts with various disciplines were invited to establish an expert committee and discuss the new version of the consensus. With reference to the newly developed evaluation criteria in Chinese clinical guidelines, the new version added the research data of the Chinese population, so as to provide guidance for the medical diagnosis and treatment of chronic cholecystitis and gallstones in the Chinese population.
