Summary:This update includes some landmark trials which were published in the last 3 months. Myocardial perfusion cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging has shown some initial promise in trials, rivaroxaban reduced thromboembolic events in heart failure with coronary artery disease, drug-coated balloons show superiority to bare metal stents in patients with high bleeding risk, and various studies are also published to improve cardiac resynchronization therapy pacemaker response.
