Given its importance, it has been being proposed for discussion in the Health field This study examined the actions of a Public Hospital focused on applying sustainability to health, through the Triple Bottom Line (TBL) or Tripod Sustainability (Economic, Environmental and Social aspects) models. The purpose of the research was to evaluate the result of the application of TBL model to this hospital. A participatory qualitative research was carried out, considering a Health Institution as a Case Study, where the results of their actions there were verified. With the planning and execution of actions for valorization of staff, awareness and education of staff and users; actions for financial and natural and material resources, the institution has achieved positive results in most aspects of the TBL model, managed to make investments in health care equipment, arose sustainable development and ensured lasting actions for the institution.</p>
