Description
Summary:The present article aims to prove the complexity of information organisation in a text of scientific popularisation, a point which is underlined by the existence in the above-mentioned text of several constructions which are more difficult to analyse from a grammatical point of view, based on specific models of complex sentences, but the presence of which is amply justified through its pragmatic functions on a discourse level. In order to analyse this text, the author chooses one of the many models of discursive heterogeneity known today, i.e. the model of discursive spaces elaborated by Liana Pop (2000). The contribution of the constructions analysed in the article in expressing various types of discursive relations in the text of popular science will be discussed in its second part, which is based on the model proposed by Jacques Moeschler (1998), a specialist in the field of temporal reference.
