Advantages Ukrainian revolution has enabled the churches of different religious affiliation decide on their participation in social and political processes to demonstrate compliance proclaimed church social teaching practice specific implementation. The vast majority of churches and religious organizations of Ukraine responded adequately to the challenges of the era, coming on Independence Square with his people, with his faithful confession and giving them spiritual, prayer and other support. Status of this problem prompted the author to complement the overall picture of the local survey, which covered just ordinary Chaplain of the Ukrainian people, with a special view on events Maidan. A review of the qualitative research findings, which task force consisted of priests from the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Kyivan Patriarchate, the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate), the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, and the Church of Evangelical Christian Baptists is carried out. The article determines an attitude of the church towards Maidan as an important social phenomenon; studies the manner in which the church came in on Maidan’s antiregime protest of Ukrainian nation; and also places an emphasis on conclusions that the church drew from the events of the Revolution of Dignity.https://grani.org.ua/index.php/journal/article/view/195МайданРеволюція Гідностіцерквагромадянське суспільствонація |
