Description
Summary:In opposition of a static and stratified conception of road networks, we propose another model, based on the idea that road networks conceal its own history inside. We don’t restore ancient roads only with established sections ; we do an analysis of their dynamic morphology with cartography. The morphological study of the Nemours region road network shows two essential elements of this dynamic : on the one hand, a space structuration with important ancient roads and, on the other hand, an important mobility of paths. The road network’s evolution is based on permanencies and changes. The permanence of the itineraries is based on mobility.
