Summary: | The objectives of this research are ; 1) Improve problem-based learning management
and 7Es of inquiry-based learning management forDepartment of Science Learning Substance
Group (Grade 8), ‘Earth to change’ with effective criteria 75/75. 2) Study an effectiveness
of 7Es of inquiry-based learning and problem-based learning management. 3) Compare
learning achievements of Earth to change’s study, problem solving, and learning attitude in
Science of Grade 8 students, betweenProblem-based Learning and 7Es of Inquiry-based
Learning The sample group used in this research is randomized and classify from Grade
8 students of Roi-Et Primary Education Service Office Area 2, JaturakarmphattanaSchool,
including 2 classroom ; M2/1 and M 2/2, total 55 students Research instruments are:
1) Learning management plan including 7Es of inquiry-based learning management plan for ‘Earth to change’ among grade 8’s classes, 8 plans with 2 hours each, total 16 hours, and
problem-based learning management planfor ‘Earth to change’ among grade 8’s classes,
8 plans with 2 hours each, total 16 hours. 7Es of inquiry-based learning management
planhas suitability mean based on opinions of experts from 4.55 to 4.63 while
problem-based learning management planis 4.54 to 4.62 2) Science learning achievement
test on ‘Earth to change’ of grade 8 class, with 4 multiple choices of 40 questionnaires,
Difficulty (P) from 0.23 to 0.58 and Discrimination (B) from 0.28 to 0.68 and Reliability (rcc)
0.89 3) Problem solving test, with 4 situation-based multiple choices of 28 questionnaires,
difficulty (p) from 0.24to 0.56,Discrimination (r) from 0.30 to 0.70 and Reliability
(KR-20) 0.85 4) Measurement of attitude towards science, with 30 questionnaires,
Discrimination (rxy) from 0.35 to 0.71, Reliability (α) 0.9 2.Statistics used in the
analysisarestandard deviation mean Hotelling’s T2
andt-test (Dependent Samples)
The results appear as follows:
1. 7Es of inquiry-based learning management plan and problem-based learning
management planfor ‘Earth to change’ among grade 8’s classesobtain Effectiveness (E1
/E2
)
80.51/82.14 and 80.49 /81.85 based on 75/75 criteria.
2. Effective Index (E.I) of 7Es of inquiry-based learning management plan equal
0.6592 or 65.92 percent, and Effective Index (E.I) of problem-based learning management
planequal 0.6543 or 65.43 percent.
3. Students who have learned through problem-based learningand 7Es of inquirybased
learningmanagement achievedhigher learning achievement, problem solving, and
(positive) attitude toward Sciencethan before, with significantly statistic level .05 |
