At diagnosis, patients present withadvanced stage tumors. A 32-years-old female patientgravida 3 parity 1. Her pregnancy was at 27 weeks livemono fetus on obstetric ultrasound. Her story, her presentgastrointestinal complaints had been persisting for oneyear, but were exacerbated in the last three months. Onupper gastrointestinal endoscopy, there was a giant ulcerat the cardia level. Early diagnosis is important for gastriccancers. Upper gastrointestinal endoscopy should beconsidered in order to rule out malignancy in patients withpersistent gastrointestinal symptoms due to pregnancy.Key words: Gastric cancer, pregnancy, early diagnosis |
