Summary: | This paper tried to identify the gender factor has influence on career choices of students who are about to take the entrance exam and are now with your choice of course set. We conducted a survey of 48 students, 25 women and 23 men who attended a Preparatory Course in Crickhowell, using a questionnaire with 24 open and closed questions, in order to characterize our population, and take note of the choices made by these youth for their future academic and professional. From our results, we realize that still, today, women seek courses with greater acceptance of women and men with mens greater acceptance, even unconsciously, and that these were influenced by gender and the traditional family model that each possesses.
