Description
Summary:Researchers analysing web corpus in digital humanities may have trouble categorising entities belonging to studied concepts. By combining two research fields – a territorial web and reputation of an online service – we will try to demonstrate that user practices and web contents and computational systems have to be considered as a whole to discuss some categories of analysis. We will define a « digital trademark territory » as a set of transposable signs retained by computational systems and highlighted by reputational authority of web users. We will demonstrate that within digital humanities the content produced by Internet users should be analysed as a relevant corpus.
