Popa” University, IasiIn the last decade the phenomenon of international migration of healthcare personnel had increased, emphasizing the global crisis of workforce. In this context, the international recruitment of health personnel became a common practice for many states. In order to set some principles of the ethics of recruitment, in 2010 the World Health Organization adopted The Global Code of Practice on the International Recruitment of Health Personnel. This was meant to be a reference tool for establishing and improving the necessary legal frame on the international recruitment of health personnel, but it did not define the ethics of recruitment.
