Description
Summary:The historical research already has been concentrated on information in Galician-Volynian Chronicle, dated in source till 1250. It describes making peace with Hungarian king Bela IV. and Galician prince Danil Romanovich. The question of events chronology is the central problem in interpretation of source. The Hungarian, Czech, Polish and Ukrainian historiography pays attention especially to these problems in the latest years. We tend to opinion, that the peace contract and marriage of Hungarian princess Constance with prince Leo took place in the royal residence in Zvolen in 1247. Scientists suppose in tendency to determine more precisely place of peace contract and marriage, that it was old Zvolen castle in todayʼs Slovakia.
