Summary:[english] During Winter Term 2014/15 the University of Veterinary Medicine, Vienna will implement a new Curriculum for the Diploma Programme in Veterinary Medicine. The new curriculum emphasizes especially self-learning and joined-up thinking of the students. This article describes how the Library of the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna is integrated in the new curriculum. Furthermore risks and opportunities associated with the new concepts of learning for the university library will be described.
