Description
Summary:Based on statistical and comparative analysis of neutron monitor data from 1995 to 2013 years the influence of recurrent and sporadic high-speed streams of solar wind on the intensity of the galactic cosmic rays near Earth orbit was studied. Both types of high-speed solar wind streams modulate the galactic cosmic rays flux and cause Forbush decreases of different nature. The main parameters of Forbush decreases such as typical shape, magnitude, duration of decrease, delay, size of modulation area etc was studied.
