Summary: | We introduce an activity-enhanced version of PythonPDEVS, a Parallel DEVS simulator. PythonPDEVS supports both sequential and distributed simulation. Both sequential and distributed variants of PythonPDEVS exploit information about computational activity to reduce simulation time. DEVS models can be augmented by the user with domain-specific information about computational load. This information is used by the simulator to improve performance.
