Description
Summary:It is impossible to speak about a national and cultural originality without taking into consideration the features of interpersonal communication of the representatives of a separate ethnic community. Communicative interaction is provided by both the verbal and nonverbal etiquette formulas corresponding to the situation of communication, existing in the system of cultural values of the people. Not only the language formulas of speech etiquette, but also the extralinguistic components of communication (gestures, a mimicry, poses, etc.) are nationally specific. In modern polycultural space, the question of preservation of sociocultural identity of small peoples, and in particular – the Teleuts, is brought up. The culture of nonverbal behavior of the Teleut ethnos representatives has been studied very little. The object of the research in this article is the verbal and sign components used in the etiquette speech genres of the Teleut people. The information has been compiled during the expeditions in thevillageofBekovowhere the Teleuts live densely. The research aims at solving the problems of studying and preserving the Teleuts’ verbal and nonverbal language code
