In recent years, regional specialization has changed as a result of globalization, the penetration of new technologies and the need for more services from consumers The aim of the present study is to analyze the regularities in the economic development of the regions in Bulgaria and to reveal the interregional differences in three main sectors - agriculture, industry, and services. For data sources, we mainly use those published by the National Statistical Institute. The study period is from 2007 to 2016.
