(sábila) on the adaptation of vitroplants of hybrid banana FHIA-18, a design of blocks was used at random with seven treatments and three replicas. The extract of Aloe vera was applied to the seven after 15 days of being transplanted to the shelter, in concentrations of 2, 4 and 6 % in the foliar and to the substratum. Statistical package Statistical Package Social for Science was used (SPSS), for Windows, version 11, 2004, was made an analysis of multiple correlations and a variance analysis for the processing of the results of the experiment in the event, for the case of significant difference among treatments, the test of multiple ranges by Duncan was used for 1% - 5 % of probability. The results obtained indicate that the number of roots is closely related to the height of the plant, longitude of the roots, and diameter of the pseudo shaft, as well as of the radical volume. The survival of the vitroplants was of 100 % for the height, the number of leaves and diameter of the pseudo shaft, the foliar applications + Aloe to the 4 and 6% were the best. For the number of roots the best behavior was the application to foliate with 6 % of Aloe, as for the longitude of the roots, the foliar applications with the 4 and 6 % of Aloe vera gave the best results. I! was obtained an increment in the radical volume of the treatments to 6 % in the foliar as in the substratum.http://www.ciget.pinar.cu/ojs/index.php/publicaciones/article/view/513
