Summary:Bogota city is immersed in a constant complexity of growth and spatial transformations, which are inconsistent and destructure urban space. The changes in definitions and limits between the concept of public and private space, place the mall as "the" public space of contemporaneity. These arquitectural units, have theresponsibility to adapt (mutate) according to the consumption activities, in response to the dynamics of modern society absorbing the particular characteristics of the traditional public space to become a place to generate relationships and interactions in community.
