Description
Summary:In this paper the author analyses the complex sentence with copulative clauses of conjunction structures. As a corpus it has taken modern prose writings David Albahari, Vladan Matić and Goran Petrović. Analyses and classification of the examples are done according to the following conjunction: and, nor, neither... nor, so, so that, but which join copulative clauses. The goal of the research is noticing and distinguishing semantic types in scope of copulation: simultaniety, congruence, consequence, result relation, nuance of mood, purpose, concretization and emphasizing of the results. Therefore it is important to observe the relation between the verbal action in copulative clauses.
