The population of the study consisted of guidance school students of Orumia city. The sample consisted of 60 boys and girls randomly selected from the subjects who were diagnosed as with test anxiety. Subjects were assigned randomly in two experimental and two control groups (boys and girls separately, each group containing 15 individuals). Intervention methods included programs for training: Relaxation, Self- instruction (guided self-dialogue), Breath control, guided imagery and problem-solving skills for confronting anxiety in testing situations. The instrument employed in this research was Phillips Test Anxiety Inventory. The hypotheses were tested using the factorial analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) and Multivariate analysis of covariance (MANCOVA). The result of the study shows that stress inoculation training reduces of subjects and has positive effect on educational performance of students. . Furthermore, the results indicated a significantly group*sex effect for test anxiety and educational performance.
