In order to investigate urban heat island (UHI) in the study area, two algorithms were developed, and Surface Radiance Temperature (SRT), Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) and Normalized Difference Build-up Index (NDBI) were analyzed. The research employed high-quality solar radiation data acquired from solar-radiation measurement station at Mahasarakham University.
