Summary:Financial analysis has become an important tool of business management in the past decades, since the decisions that companies’ managers have to take are complex and depend by a variety of factors specific to the internal and external environment. A well-established financial analysis can constitute important advantages for the company. Starting from these premises, in this paper we analyze the financial position of a sample of 12 worldwide oil companies, one of the most competitive fields of activity with influences on other sectors.
