Summary:The aim of this article is to identify and reconstruct the links between Greimas’ semiotic approach and that of Landowski. The parallel is developed focusing on the four following trajectories: theoretical, methodological, epistemological and political. The first of those deals with Greimas’ theory of narrativity and the expanded form Landowski gave it through his model of the regimes of interactions and meaning. The second tackles the challenges of the semiotic method in front of the complexity of the contemporary world and communication. The third revolves around the dynamics of construction and transformation of meaning. The last one addresses the political implications
