Summary:This article provides an overview of the main areas of implementation of innovative information technologies in tourism activity by the example of automated systems for traffic management, security, current monitoring of objects, phenomena and processes, modules of tourist services booking applications, communication tools and specialised equipment to indicate the probability of conceptual change in the formation of consumer preferences. The paper explores new challenges and threats, which will have a significant impact on the development of socio-economic processes at the level of the world market and, accordingly, the operation of branches of material and non-material production. The aim of the article is to study the impact of innovative technologies on the formation of the international tourism market, the objectives are the following: to identify factors of change of the qualitative and quantitative structure of world tourist flows; to provide a brief overview of the latest technologies that are used in the process of organizing a trip by suppliers and consumers of tourism products; to describe the possible scenarios of development of the society, which will create new prerequisites for consumer preferences. Four civilisational scenarios are considered (based on the research of leading international organisations). Each of them has certain features of the regulation of a national economy, a sector of public administration, social integration processes in the society and the transport and tourist infrastructure development. Their characteristics are given, drivers of conceptual changes in the approaches to travel organisation are determined. The article also indicates a group of factors that must be considered in macroeconomic forecasts of the general state of a country and separate industries. Particular attention is paid to demographic challenges. The study was carried out on the background of the state budget scientific theme (ordered by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine). Future researches are planned in the sphere of methods of economic and mathematical modelling in order to build forecast models.
