Summary:The purpose of this study was to determine the skills necessary for teachers of students with learning disabilities, their importance, and to what extent the teachers actually possess these necessary skills. A questionnaire was sent to teachers of students with learning disabilities in Saudi Arabia (N =110). The questionnaire dealt with the following skills: academic skills, educational strategy skills, and work environment skills. The study resulted in the following: 1. There is a significant difference between teachers related to their age in terms of importance of skills. 2. There is a significant difference between teachers related to their GPA, in terms of having these skills.
