The teacher is the first professional to identify reading and writing difficulties, as he is responsible for the literacy process. For this reason, there is a need to train qualified teachers to observe the difficulties and be able to devise strategies to reduce them. The research subjects were 11 academics who completed a distance pedagogy course, who freely answered an online questionnaire through the Google Forms platform. An analysis of the information derived in an exploratory qualitative way, making a parallel between the answers and the materials already published. Thus, we sought to understand the reality of a small sample of the region, not with regard to distance education and knowledge about learning disorders. The results showed that the notes of the pedagogy course address learning disorders, allowing students to get in touch with the theme and prepare for professional performance. Thus, there is a need for specialization courses and continuing education on learning difficulties, so that teachers can obtain more information about and, consequently, develop an assertive work that allows the inclusion of all students.https://ojs.ufgd.edu.br/index.php/ead/article/view/12783dislexia. aprendizagem. educação a distância.
