SOCIAL PROBLEMS OF NANOTECHNOLOGY

<p class="x-----------" xml:lang="en-US"><span class="char-style-override-10">Social and ecological problems of nanotechnologies development are reviewed in the article. These problems touch interests of the whole mankind. On one side, the nanotechnology has a great potential, which may benefit to the mankind in different areas, and on the other side, there are different social and ecological problems. Therefore, there is a need for the study of a revolutionary technology impact on ecological and social aspects in the future.</span></p><p class="x-----------" xml:lang="en-US">The <span class="char-style-override-1">objective</span> <span class="char-style-override-10">is to analyze the probability of nanotechnology impact on ecological and social aspects.</span></p><p class="x-----------" xml:lang="en-US"><span class="char-style-override-1">Method and procedures.</span> <span class="char-style-override-10">Methodologically and theoretically, the study is based on fundamental ideas of philosophy, culturology, ecology and sociology. In conducting the studies, general scientific and special analyze methods were used (generalization, system approach principles, comparative and logical analysis tools).</span></p><p class="x-----------" xml:lang="en-US"><span class="char-style-override-1">Results.</span> <span class="char-style-override-10">A potential for use of nanotechnologies is determined, the analysis of social consequences of nanotechnologies implementation is given, social and cultural prospectives of nanotechnologies development are defined, the dual character of consequences of nanotechnologies development is shown.</span> </p><p class="x-----------" xml:lang="en-US"><span class="char-style-override-1">Application area. </span><span class="char-style-override-10">Suggest certain measures for improvement of possible nanotechnologies impact on ecological and social aspects, its provision with the information and psycho-logy safety, and direction of its power for human wealth.</span></p>
