Membranous nephropathy associated with profound hypothyroidism
Abstract Membranous nephropathy can be primary or secondary. Although common causes of secondary MN are malignancy and lupus, hypothyroidism was rarely reported. Providers should check thyroid function tests in patients with unexplained nephrotic proteinuria.
