Summary:Algeria is a natural and human power. It has been blessed by a long coastline of 1644 km. It is of strategic importance in various economic fields: tourist and industrial, natural and human resources where the majority of the population is gathered, and to protect the natural and water environment. The protection of the environment in general and the protection of the coasts more precisely. Therefore, this study examines the most important administrative means used by the legislator in this area, such as license, prohibition, the system of studying the impact of the environment, beach configuration plan and sea hill plans, and their mechanisms to thus determine their actual effectiveness in protecting these beaches.
