By ideation it is meant the general processes leading to knowledge - the search for knowledge in an efort to obtain comprehension as a way of satisfying the needs of the mind Ideology, on the other hand consists of improving things in the world. The article builds in the argument that a lack of discriminations between the two conceots leads toa number of misguided positions and conclusions in the applied language studies concerned with language learning and teaching. |
