Ivan Turbincă’s confrontation with this evil archetype introduces an ontological model of fight between man and evil, similar to the mythical prototype identified in the biblical texts. In this way, the Creanga’s character transgressed the influences of universal evil by it submission, and the archetypal image dismounted by the devil’s fixation into insignificance, towards which the triumphal laughter of collective subconscious
hovers, reassuring humor, which does not leave room for macabre interpretations. |
