Both schools and universities switched to the distance education system. The distance education, which is an important development for Turkish education system, brought up many questions especially on how to measure and evaluate to the agenda. In this study, the incidents that have been experienced in education in the world and in Turkey during the distance education in the outbreak are discussed. The aim of the study is to provide forward-looking approaches and suggestions to our colleagues about what to do in measurement and evaluation in distance education in Turkey.
